Today, Tuesday, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko discussed the implementation of the smart city project “North Beach” in Belarus with the CEO of Emirati company “Emaar Properties” Mohamed Ali Alabbar.
During the meeting, the president of Belarus praised the relations with “Emaar Properties”, which Al-Abbar called “old friend of Belarus” and considered the “North Beach” project the largest project in the republic.
In addition, the press service of the Belarusian president indicated that the talks also touched on cooperation in the field of information technology, with the Belarusian president explaining that the UAE has made great progress in the field. this, while “Belarus still needs to do to get to this level.
The president of Belarus also proposed to discuss cooperation “in the field of agriculture, food and other issues.”
Within the framework of the “Northern Beach” project, investments worth 4 billion euros are expected. The smart city is planned to be located in the capital of Minsk. The project includes the construction of residential buildings with engineering infrastructure, transportation, social facilities and public services in an area of more than 6 million square meters.
