Moody’s stops rating Twitter for lack of company information

The financial rating agency Moody’s announced this Saturday that it will stop doing ratings on Twitter for not having enough information about the company, recently acquired by the American billionaire Elon Musk.

“Moody’s has decided to withdraw the ratings [do Twitter] because it considers that it has insufficient or inadequate information to support the maintenance of the ratings“, the company said in a statement published on its place official.

Layoffs, departure of advertisers and end of remote work. In two weeks (almost) everything changed Musk on Twitter

The announcement comes in the same week that hundreds of Twitter employees announced they had left the company after rejecting an ultimatum from Elon Musk, who asked them to take on the hard work or leave the company.

According to several US media outlets, on Wednesday Twitter workers received an email from the company in which Musk asked them to fill out a form pledging to “work long hours at high intensity.”

Since taking control of Twitter, Musk has already made a major downsizing of the social network’s workforce, laying off almost half of the company’s roughly 7,500 workers.
