It was a challenging day in voting on the State Budget proposals for 2023. It was the day dedicated to fiscal measures. And the debate in the morning, in plenary, was promising. It is not that great changes were expected with respect to what was already known in the proposals of the PS and the Government. But even so, there was room for some fiscal victories for the opposition parties, notably in terms of VAT, which was cut on bicycles (Livre) and some food products (PAN), in addition to what was already known to be going down. intended for PS (shellfish and heating products).
