Average weekly price ERSE drops 1.2% this week for gasoline and 0.3% for diesel

The weekly average price of fuels, calculated by the Energy Services Regulatory Entity (ERSE), rises this week by 1.2% for gasoline and 0.3% for diesel, according to a report released this Monday by the regulator .

According to the ERSE Weekly Report on Supervision of Retail Prices, for the week of January 16 to 22, the efficient price before taxes is 0.855 euros per liter (euros/l) for pure 95 gasoline and 0.996 euros/l for pure gasoline. diesel.

After taxes, the price is 1,698 euros/l for pure 95 gasoline and 1,661 euros/l for pure diesel.

According to the ERSE, the weekly average price registered an update, compared to last week, of +1.2% for gasoline and +0.3% for diesel, taking into account the weekly variation in international prices of simple 95 gasoline by +2.7% and simple diesel by +0.5%.

“Regarding the previous week, it was verified that the average of the Public Sales Prices announced in the portals, and reported in the Single Window for Energy, was 3.5 cents/l above the Efficient Pricethis week, in the case of simple gasoline 95, and 2.0 cents/labove in the case of simple diesel”, can be read in the report.

In percentage terms, pure gasoline 95 was announced in the porches 2.0% above the Efficient Price and simple diesel was announced 1.2% above the Efficient Price.

Also in relation to the previous week, ERSE refers that, with regard to the discounted prices, published by the General Directorate of Energy and Geology (DGEG), “Simple gasoline 95 presented a deviation of -1.1% compared to the Efficient Price and simple diesel of -3.8%.“.

ERSE indicates that, in absolute terms, “these estimates are, for pure 95 gasoline, at -1.9 cents/l, and for pure diesel, at -6.0 cents/l, below the respective prices efficient”.
