Lisbon OPI nurses on strike on February 6

You the nurses of the Portuguese Institute of Oncology (IPO) in Lisbon will go on strike between 8 and 12 on February 6. The strike was declared by the Portuguese Nurses Union and announced to the Government, the SNS Executive Directorate and the Lisbon OPI administration last Monday.

The nurses demand thefair and legal counting of points for the purpose of changing pay position and paying retroactive fees since January 2018″, the “entry of more nurses and the regularization of precarious work situations”; and the “harmonization of the number of vacation days among all nurses”, so that nurses with an individual employment contract do not have less vacation days.
