The Tax Authority (AT) alerted this Monday about the circulation of a fraudulent message, through which taxpayers are asked to access a link to send their income statement, and then they are redirected to malicious pages.
“AT is aware that some taxpayers are receiving emails, supposedly coming from AT, referring to a possible missing income statementin which you are asked to click on a link,” it said in a statement.
The tax authorities stressed that these messages are false and should therefore be ignored.
These emails have with the aim that the user accesses the links, which are then sent to malicious pages.
“Under no circumstances should this operation be carried out,” he stressed, recommending reading the informative brochure on computer security, available on the Treasury Portal.
