Authority for Working Conditions launches portal and mobile application

The Authority for Working Conditions (ACT) launched this Monday a new Internet portal and a mobile application, which make available to users various simulators for labor issues and the presentation of documents ‘online’.

According to the agency’s note sent to the newsrooms, among the tools available on the portal are simulators related to “vacations, absences due to the death of a family member, organization of occupational health and safety services, compensation for termination of employment , compensation for training credits and notice of termination of contract and existence of asbestos to help workers and employers”.

The new portal also facilitates access to more than 30 forms and the submission of applications or communications quickly and securely, through authentication methods, such as the Digital Mobile Password.

The mobile app, which can be downloaded from the AppStore and PlayStore app stores, also simplifies access to ACT’s core services, including submitting inspection requests, as well as various information and simulators.

“These projects are the result of a strategy of greater simplicity and proximity in the communication of ACT in the promotion of better working conditions in Portugal. The new portal is available on the day that World Workers’ Day and the entry into force of the Decent Work Agenda are commemorated”, can be read in the note released this Monday.
