Project of 5.6 million euros brings together 20 entities with products that reduce the risk of fire

The rePlant project, led by Navigator and ForestWise, has an investment of 5.6 million euros and involves 20 entities linked to the development of products and services that help reduce the risk of fire.

“The project had a investment of 5.6 million euros and brought together more than 20 entities, between leading companies in the sector, universities and other research and innovation entities, whose work gave rise to the development of new products, processes and serviceslargely supported by digital Technologies, that help reduce the risk of fire,” Navigator said in a statement.

According to the company, the objective of this project is to improve the management processes of forestry and energy companies, using innovation in forestry and fire management.

The results of this project will be presented, on June 1, at the Electricity Museum, in Lisbon, in the event “Digital Forest: Enter the next level”.

In this session there will also be a debate on innovation and technology in the forest, the future of the forest and its contribution to the bioeconomy, with interventions by those responsible for REN, Navigator, Altri and E-Redes.
