The 2022 Billboard Music Awards took place in Las Vegas yesterday, and it is the 29th edition of the event.

Award winners are selected based on success through album and song sales, broadcasts, radio plays, concerts, and social interaction.
Olivia Rodrigo, Kanye West and Doga Cat received the most awards at the ceremony. Olivia Rodrigo received the most awards with seven awards, including Best New Artist, followed by Kanye West with 6 awards.
The event featured performances by Megan The Stallion, Silk Sonic, Ed Sheeran, and Machine Gun Kelly.
Travis Scott gave his first official performance after his crash as a starter at last year’s Astroworld Festival.
