The Duchess of Cambridge and Kate Middleton’s wife, Prince William, are an inspiration to many women around the world.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, wore a lemon yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead on June 3, 2022. In the days that followed, Google searches for a yellow dress skyrocketed. Valerie Nijsen, a Dutch national, has been driven by her passion for Prince William’s fashion to buy as many as 150 Kate Middleton pieces of clothing so far, according to The Sun. The 27-year-old’s interest in the Duchess of Cambridge’s elegant fashion began in 2011.
In the last 11 years, Valerie has made more than £6,500 in earnings, according to The Sun. One of Valerie’s most profitable purchases was the Uterqüe jacket that Kate Middleton wore in Canada in 2011. Valerie bought it for £21 on Vinted and was able to auction it off on eBay for £625.
