On Tuesday 12 July 2022, a ceremonial tribute was held at Windsor Castle to a number of eminent NHS professionals from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Britain’s Crown Prince, Prince Charles, accompanied Queen Elizabeth II, to imitate the George Cross, for honorees, in particular: Nurse May Parsons, who was the first to inject people with the flu vaccine Corona infection in the world outside of clinical trials, and this happened on December 8, 2020, when he administered the vaccine to Mrs. Maggie Keenan.
The Queen exchanged a conversation with Nurse May, about the latter’s experience administering the Corona vaccine to patients for the first time in the world, while awarding the medal.
“We are very proud to start giving the vaccine, it has been very successful,” May Parsons told him about it. The queen replies, “Yes, it was amazing,” and then she continues to joke with the nurse, “Are you still alive?”
An indication that the George Cross is second only to the Victoria Cross, in the list of the highest royal honors bestowed by the Queen on individuals; In recognition of his services to the British Crown and the United Kingdom.
