After the inauguration of the 61st edition of the Monte Carlo International Television Festival, with the series “Last Light”, the Shahid platform is preparing to launch it from September 9, exclusively in the Middle East.

The film is based on the famous novel “Afterlight” by author Alex Scaro, as it revolves around a major oil crisis that affects the world, which leads to massive destruction in the economy as well as wars, famines and epidemics that almost they destroy humanity after the death of millions. During that catastrophe, some human groups manage to establish safe havens for life after inventing alternative lifestyles to those that existed in the past.
