A pair of outlaw alien brothers are charged with murdering K9 Officer and Deputy Sheriff Ned Byrd, a 13-year police veteran in Wake County, North Carolina, one of the most dangerous safe houses in the country.
Earlier on 12 August, prosecutors allege that illegal immigrant brothers Alder Alfonso Sotelo, 25, and Arturo Marin Sotelo, 29, shot and killed Byrd, 48, in Raleigh after they got out of their marked vehicle. patrol car Byrd’s K9 partner, Sasha, remained in the car at the time.
Byrd was later found shot to death next to his patrol car.
Last week, a grand jury indicted the Sotelo brothers in Byrd’s murder, and both now face life sentences or the death penalty if found guilty. Both are from Mexico.
Bird’s brother, Minion Bird Perkins, wrote in his obituary:
He lived a full life, was helpful, kind and very loving. Ned was everyone’s friend and family to many. He is the strongest and smartest big brother anyone can imagine – he is my hero and my rock. He quickly left this world and took what was left of my heart with him.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE) confirmed to Breitbart News that Alder Alfonso Sotelo and Arturo Marin Sotelo are each illegal Mexican brothers who entered the United States via the southern border.
Specifically, Arturo Marin Sotelo was detained and repatriated to Mexico near Naco, Arizona, before crossing the southern border again in June 2010.
This month, ICE officials placed detainees on the Sotelo brothers and demanded that if they were released from local police custody at any time, they would hand the couple over to the agency for arrest and deportation.

ICE officials confirmed to Breitbart News that Rolando Marin Sotelo was first detained near Douglas, Arizona, along the southern border in October 2019, and has been identified as an unaccompanied alien child (UAC). In this case, he was sent back to Mexico.
Two months later, in December 2019, Rolando Marin Sotelo was detained at the border in Brownsville, Texas, and received a notice (NTA) from former President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to appear in immigration court. He was later released to the United States pending his immigration hearing scheduled for April 2023.
This week, Operation Fly Our Flag, a nonprofit organization, held a memorial trip at the Raleigh Coastal Credit Union Music Park, where hundreds came to pay tribute to Byrd.
