Concessionaires waiting for possible proposals from the Government to stop the historic rise in tolls

The acceleration of inflation in October above 10% compared to the same period of the previous year once again highlights the foreseeable increase in tolls next year. Also because the inflation numbers for October are the reference for the annual rate update in most road concessionaires.

In the case of Brisa, the largest concessionaire by kilometers and traffic, the rate that counts is the evolution of the interannual consumer price index for October without housing, which would mean a average increase in tolls of 10.46% as of January, with the rounding of 5 cents (up and down) provided for in the contract.

Inflation exceeds 10% in October. Tolls could rise by 10.46%
