Campaign in IL. On the streets, in the networks and informally

The party that wanted to stop having the Twitter seal goes to the polls and bets on the eye to eye relationship to elect the successor to João Cotrim Figueiredo, but he does not renounce social networks to spread the message and try to differentiate between two candidates coming from the same Executive Committee, from the same parliamentary group and who were part of the team that worked directly with the resigning president of the IL.

Rui Rocha and Carla Castro are, so far, the only liberal presidential candidates. A little over a month after the decision was announced and less than a month before the elective Convention, the teams are on their way (without fully knowing each other yet) and are touring the core of the country. EITHER triumph is clear and used by both: informality????????

Both travel by car and they are usually accompanied by the respective campaign managers. Rui Rocha has Rui Ribeiro, who was already responsible for the legislative campaign in Porto (in which Carlos Guimarães Pinto and Patrícia Gilvaz were deputies) and the municipal electoral campaign in Vila Nova de Gaia. In addition to being the coordinator of this nucleus and member of the outgoing Executive Committee, Rui Ribeiro leads the business area of communications and corporate networks of NOS.

Carla Castro continues with Paulo Carmona, who became her right arm in this challenge. The founder of MEL (Movimento Europa e Liberdade) was the IL candidate for the Municipality of Sintra in the municipal elections and became part of the Liberals’ parliamentary cabinet after the election of eight deputies. By becoming Carla Castro’s number two and leading the campaign of the former coordinator of the studies office, he decided to leave his position in the Assembly of the Republic.
