The Iraqi Football Association provided a private jet to transport the team from Saudi Arabia to Iraq in honor of their first-ever win at the West Asian Championship.

The Iraq women’s futsal team won the West Asian Women’s Championship by beating the hosts 4-2 in the final match.

The Football Association released a statement confirming that the Minister of Youth and Sports and the President of the Football Association, Adnan Darjal, in agreement with the Minister of Transport and Communications, ordered a special aircraft to be allocated for the return of the women’s team. champion of the third West Asian Cup, to the capital Baghdad.

In his statement, he noted that this was done in recognition of the efforts made by the delegation, the coaching staff and the players to win the championship title, after they presented technical levels that earned praise, appreciation and support for women’s football, which confirmed his ingenuity and possessing the ingredients for success.
