Welsh striker Gareth Bale has announced his move to Los Angeles after leaving Real Madrid.

Bale, 32, posted a video to his social media accounts wearing the team’s new jersey and wrote, “See you soon in LA.”

Bale has reportedly agreed to join the American team for one season, with the option of a further season after his Real Madrid contract expires this summer.

Bale joined Real Madrid in 2013 from Tottenham and won three La Liga titles with the team, in addition to five Champions League titles, three Club World Cups and one Copa del Rey.

But relations between him and Real Madrid have deteriorated over the past two seasons and he joined Tottenham on loan in the 2020-2021 season.

Bale led his country to qualify for the 2022 World Cup for the first time since 1958 after beating Ukraine 1-0 in the playoffs earlier this month.
