Algerian coach Abdelhak Benchiha announced his departure from Al Difaa Al Jadidi during a press conference after the team’s match against Youssoufia Berrechid in the penultimate round of the 29th round of the Moroccan League.

The match ended 1-0 in favor of the new team, allowing them to remain in the Premier League, moving up to 10th place with 35 points, while Youssoufia Berrechid, who was relegated to the second division after his score froze at around 26 points in last place, no luck.

Benchikha emphasized that the most important thing was achieved despite the long torment during the second part of the championship, noting that since joining the team, the responsibility is no longer on winning titles, but on building a young team, which was achieved by including 11 young players who will have a great deal.

Benchikha showed that he did not win anything either mathematically, having reached the first ranks, or mentally, as he lived for two seasons on his nerves or financially, and that, despite this, he won the love of the people, in addition to working with the president from Hama and standing with him during a disaster.

He added that it is necessary to think about the post-Benchikov stage, because he decided to leave the team, and that he is very convinced of the work he has done, because he works hard and sincerely, with evidence that he spent an important period in Morocco, this amounted to 10 years in a row.

For his part, coach Youssoufia Berrechid Abdel Rahim Najjar said that the departure of his team from the first division is not the end of the world, but it needs to be corrected and a speedy return to the first division. He added that lessons and lessons should be used and work in a new spirit and quickly correct things in order to return to the first section again, wishing not to repeat mistakes and work seriously to ensure the return of the paper, especially since the team includes a group of important players and possesses the energy that allows the team to quickly return to the elite section.
