In fulfillment of its annual calendar for 2022, the Lebanese Athletics Federation organized the General Federation Cup for Athletics Teams over four days at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut and at the Stadium of Our Lady of Jamhour, in the presence of Lebanese Federation President Roland Saade, General Secretary Wassim Al -Hooley, Chairman of the Judicial Committee, Treasurer Maria Kevorkian and Head of the Technical Committee, Member of the Federation Philip Bejani.

Five new national records were set during the tournament:

1- Player Nabil Al-Akoumi of the Lebanese Army Club set a new record of 65.16 meters (the previous record was 62.90 meters in the name of player Mohammed Al-Akib of the Lebanese Army Club).
2- Player Mohamed Mortada from Lebanese Inter set a new record of 46.94 seconds, (the previous record was registered in the name of player Noureddine Hadid from the Lebanese Army Club of 47.36 seconds).
3- Player Samantha Ann Haddad of the Petron Stars club set a new record of 41.02 meters (the previous record was 40.96 meters for the same player).
4- Mark Anthony Ibrahim of Litz Run set a new record of 50.91 seconds (previous record was 50.97 seconds for the same player)
5- Jawad Shamas of Baalbek Castle Club set a new record in the U-16 category with a time of 53.89 seconds (the previous record was held by player Rafael Samaha of Al Jamhour of 54.39 seconds).

At the end of the tournament, prizes were distributed to players who achieved records during the tournament, and trophies were distributed to teams that took the first three places in the men’s and women’s categories,
