Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi admitted that he was the main reason for his team’s 3-1 loss to Udinese in the seventh round of Calcio.

Inzaghi told Sky Sports Italia: “I decided to take off Alessandro Bastoni and Henrikh Mkhitaryan after only 30 minutes because they both got yellow cards.”

He added: “Udinese won all the second balls, individual games, we had problems, two paid for the yellow card and Udinese started better and deserved to win, we have to learn from this unpleasant defeat and I also think that the team needs more attention we knew what Udinese was capable of and we needed to do more.”

He continued: “In the last 3 away games we conceded 9 goals. Last season we missed the same amount in the full tour. These are individual and collective mistakes. We have to be more determined because we have to win the second ball. against these teams.

He continued: “We were lucky to take the lead with a goal in the fourth minute. We cannot lose such a match. We started better but conceded 9 corners and it’s normal that you get a goal on the ninth. you have to think a lot, because this defeat is painful.”

He concluded: “The performance leaves us confused, and given that I have the primary responsibility, I have to do more and better, there are individual and collective mistakes.”
