This Thursday, Sporting added the second victory in as many matches in Group A of the elite matchday of the Futsal Champions League, by beating the Ukrainians of Uragan lvano-Frankivsk 4-2, in Eboli, Italy.

A day after beating Serbs from KMF Loznica Grad by the same 4-2, the lions took an important step towards the finals, and will now face Italians from Città di Eboli on Saturday.

Neves, in the ninth minute, opened the scoring for the European runners-up, who expanded through Tomás Paçó in the 13th minute, before Terentiev reduced it to 2-1, with a penalty converted in the 18th minute.

In the second half, Shved equalized, in the 35th minute, but João Matos restored the lead to the Portuguese, after 14 seconds.

At minute 39, Pany Varela made it 4-2, with no time for the rival to dispute the success of the Lisboners, fair winners, clearly more offensive as evidenced by the double shots (53-26).

Sporting leads the group, with six pointsfollowed by Uragan, with three, while Loznica and Eboli, who are still looking for the first points, meet this Thursday.

The decisive round takes place only on Saturday, with only the winner qualifying for the final four.
