Yesterday, the Russian military demonstrated the operation of a laser system called “Zadera”, which destroyed an air target at a distance of 5 kilometers with a starter, causing its complete destruction.
According to Russia’s “TASS” news agency, the Deputy Prime Minister said, “Some systems based on new physical principles will soon replace ordinary weapons. Some models of Russian laser guns will be used to fire enemy drones, instead of the expensive “Tor” and “Buk” air defense systems. .
In connection with this, Borisov referred to the laser system “Peresvit”, which is produced in batches and supplied to Russian army units.
