Industrial production of the promising Russian fifth-generation “Check-Mat” fighter will begin in 2027.
As for the test model, it will be ready after 2023. This was announced by the head of the Russian state company “Rostec”, Sergey Chemezov, at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing that the manufacture of the fighter aircraft has been completed. occurs at the expense of company funds, without attracting funds to the state budget.
Rostec’s press service said the company is currently undertaking several promising projects, including the “Okhotnik” flat nozzle strike mission and the Mi-171A3 helicopter. As for the “Kesh Mat” fighter, it recently received a patent.
It is noteworthy that the “Kesh Mat” light, tactical, single-engine fighter first appeared at the Military Technical Forum “Army-2021”, after which the aircraft was presented at the Dubai Airshow 2021.
It is designed based on the latest technologies using artificial intelligence technology. The fighter can hit 6 targets simultaneously and is a single-engine aircraft with a speed of Mach 1.8 (approximately 2,400 km/h) and an operating range of 3,000 km.
