Yury Borisov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, said that Russia has made significant progress in the field of nitriding lasers on a global level.
It is noteworthy that within the framework of the Tenth International Industrial Youth Forum “Engineers of the Future-2022”, a plenary meeting was held with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Borisov, entitled “The Role of Engineering Staffs in Ensuring Russia’s Technological Sovereignty ”.
During his participation in the activities of the Forum, Borisov announced the areas of technology and technology, where Russia is ahead of other countries.

He pointed out that Russian engineers have found exciting and important solutions in this area, including delivering a laser beam to the target with specific force and enabling it to focus on this target.
Last May, Borisov announced the availability of the “Zadera” laser device, whose beam can penetrate the aircraft from a distance of 5 kilometers. There is another laser device called “Peresvit”, which can disable spy satellites at a distance of 1.5 thousand kilometers.
