Consumer Reports (CR) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to evaluate and test most of the products on the market, to find out which products are the best, because they cause fewer problems and suffer fewer failures. And everything is analyzed, from washing machines to vacuum cleaners, obviously going through cars. And it is on the latter that we focus, since the CR launched the classification corresponding to 2023.

Cars do not always satisfy their customers, generating criticism and complaints, especially when they break down. And the CR, after analyzing more than 300,000 vehiclesestablished the ranking for 2023, noting that The increase in prices in the last two years has led drivers to keep vehicles in their possession for longer, which has increased the number of breakdowns and claims.

CR’s work is an excellent work tool, especially between brands and vehicles in the same segment. This is because the customer of a simpler and cheaper vehicle is, by nature, less demanding than the one who bought a more expensive model of a more luxurious brand. Toyota stood out once again by reaching the first position, after having achieved the 2nd position in the 2022 ranking???????? So it was just behind its “luxury sister”, Lexus, which this time was 2nd, with the first two places in the hands of the Toyota Group. Japanese manufacturers dominated most of the Top 10, with Mazda 4th, Honda 5th, Subaru 7th and Acura 8th.

As for the European brands, the first was BMW, which ranked third, ahead of Audi, which ranked sixth, the only two manufacturers in the ranking to have earned a place in the top 10.???????? Volvo was 14, Volkswagen 22 and Mercedes 24, far from their main rivals, BMW and Audi.
