The Minister of Information of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Danil Bessonov, told the “Telegram” channel that Russian army soldiers recorded the flight of micro-military drones launched by the Ukrainian army.
He noted that the Black Hornet is one of the smallest military drones in the world and was manufactured by the Norwegian company Prox Dynamics in 2012, after which it bought a large batch for the UK military.

The walk does not exceed 100 millimeters, weighs only 18 grams and has a speed of 5 meters per second. The drone can stay in the air for 25 minutes and fly up to 1,000 meters.
Its small size enables it to perform espionage tasks. British reconnaissance units used this military march in Afghanistan. It is also used by US Marine Corps units.
The Ukrainian and Norwegian governments announced in August 2022 that they would finance the production of 850 Black Hornet UAVs for the Ukrainian army.
