The German manufacturer advances that, due to difficulties with suppliers, some models continue to see their delivery times extended, so orders will go to the 2nd generation. Volkswagen produces the ID.3 in Zwickau and in small numbers at the “model” factory in Dresden, but the plan is to start production in 2023 at the manufacturer’s factory in Wolfsburg, in order to increase the production rate of its models during the MEEB platform.
