The Russian Ministry of Defense released a video showing the results of the use of the 122 mm “Tortado-G” missile system, in which a fortified area belonging to the army of the Kyiv regime was destroyed outside the Ukrainian town of Mariinka.
It should be noted that the new 122-mm “Tornado-G” missile system is an upgraded model of the Soviet-made “Grad” and “Smerch” missile launchers.
It is worth noting that the industrial production of the 122-mm “Tornado-G” system began in Russia in the early nineties of the last century, and the maximum working range is 100 km, the minimum range of firing is 4000 meters. It has 14000 kg, 40 tubes of 122 mm caliber, ignition time, 220 horsepower KamAZ engine, 85 km / h maximum speed and a crew of two.
It is worth noting that the Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, previously announced that the “Tornado-G” and “S” missile systems are used with high efficiency in the fight against Ukrainian artillery and missile systems.
