Maserati GranTurismo launches Launch Edition with 150 units

Maserati has created a special launch series for its new GranTurismo, the elegant four-seater sports coupé. Called the Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary, this version serves as launch edition for the new Italian model, which will offer electric mechanics and others powered by gasoline units, as is the case with this launch series.

Great Tourism. With V6 it’s already good, the battery is (even) better

The basis of this version intended to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Maserati “turismo”, saloons and 2+2 coupes, is the GranTurismo Trofeo, a model equipped with the most powerful engine in the range. We are referring to the 3.0 V6 biturbo from the Nettuno family, which produces 557 hp and 650 Nm of torque. This allows it to claim a top speed of 320 km/h, as well as the ability to go from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.

The transalpine builder of the Stellantis group will produce 150 units, divided into two batches of 75 units, each in one of two trim levels. The first option appears painted on a Grigio Mamiera Matte, with Corse Red badging and black wheels. Those who want a darker tone can opt for the second option, with the body covered in Nero Scarabeo Mattewith details to Green mint. And to reinforce the sporty character of the special edition, Maserati used a series of details in carbon fiber, from the four exhaust outlets to the rear diffuser, passing through the revelation later.

Refinement reigns in the interior with a touch of sportiness. The upholstery of the seats uses genuine leather, in black and white, the first color being used on the base of the seats and the second to give life to the headrests -where the 75th Anniversary logo can be seen- and the sides to the trunk and legs. The sound system is in charge of Sonus Faber, with the 12.3” instrument panel screen being complemented by the central 12.2” and the smallest, with only 8.8”, intended solely to control the air conditioning.
