Egypt’s Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation has made important recommendations to wheat farmers at the current time, emphasizing that the crop is getting a headache.

The Ministry of Agriculture noted that dormancy causes an estimated 20 to 25% loss in crop yield in many cases, and dormancy in wheat crops makes it difficult to harvest crops, such as grains from wheat crops, which increases costs. they fell asleep, they were small and atrophied. So, the color of the straw made from the plants is not white but dark.
He added that where there are varieties that tend to be dormant, there are genetic causes – the genetic characteristics of the variety – and this is a genetic trait in both varieties, especially in the municipal varieties that are now missing
