Microsoft fixes serious software flaws and vulnerabilities in Windows systems

During the March “Patch Tuesday” update, Microsoft announced that it had fixed many software flaws and vulnerabilities affecting Windows systems on computers.

According to the company’s experts, the latest update addresses about 83 software flaws, including 21 privilege-related issues, a flaw in the operation of the Edge browser, and dangerous software vulnerabilities. known as “end-of-the-world vulnerabilities” or zero-days.

Among the latest vulnerabilities announced by Microsoft this month are “CVE-2023-23397” related to privileged software in Outlook services and “CVE-2023-24880” vulnerability in SmartScreen services, which allows with security systems being compromised.

From the first exploit, hackers can infiltrate computers and send messages to users containing malicious addresses that connect computers to private servers to hack their data.

For the second vulnerability, hackers were able to bypass Windows Web Beacon alerts to download malicious files to users’ devices that threaten the security and safety of those devices.
