The Peugeot E-308 SW already has prices. Arrives in December

If you were waiting for the arrival of the new E-308 SW, you should know that Peugeot has just opened orders for the exclusively electric variant of what is, in the national market, the best-selling van. In this new generation, the van The 308 is entitled for the first time to a battery version, which announces a range of more than 400 km. Prices have already been published and start at €46,125 with the Allure equipment level, that is, €1,100 more than the E-308 with the same equipment.

In the top equipment level, called GT, the difference between the sedan and the family car is a little greater, with the latter being the one that asks for 1,250 euros more. In both cases, the brand offers the wall box and four years of maintenance and warranty. As usual, this model is more attractive for companies than for individuals, thanks to the total VAT relief, which represents an expense of €37,500 or €39,451, depending on whether it is the E-308 SW Allure or GT, respectively. According to Peugeot, the delivery of the first units should occur before the end of the year. In Information box Below, we give you an overview of the equipment associated with each version.

The new 308 family van combines compact dimensions with an attractive design and, at the same time, the versatility associated with this body. It has a 115 kW (156 HP) electric motor and 260 Nm of torque, which is powered by an NMC 811 battery (80% nickel, 10% manganese and 10% cobalt) operating at 400V. With a gross capacity of 54 kWh (51 kWh useful), this new Stellantis accumulator allows Peugeot to boast a range of more than 400 km with a full load, according to the European WLTP consumption and emissions measurement protocol. At the base of this autonomy, between visits to the charging station, is a consumption of 12.7 kWh/100 km, a good value that the brand justifies with the aerodynamic improvement work at the front and under the body. The new motor/battery assembly and the containment of friction losses will also contribute to better energy efficiency.

When it’s time to recharge, the E-3-308 van accepts alternating current (AC) charging up to 11 kWwhich lasts five hours, while in direct current (DC) it handles up to 100 kW of powerTherefore, connecting to a fast charging station allows you to go from 20 to 80% capacity in 25 minutes.
