Although mainland Portugal “will not be hit directly by the storm, an associated cold frontal surface” will pass through the territory on Saturday, causing “periods of heavy and persistent rain on Saturday night and morning in the north and center.”

The cold frontal surface is expected to pass through the Madeira archipelago during the last hour of Saturday, “although without gravity.”
