Report: CNN parent company Warner Bros. mass layoffs at Discovery coming this month

It was reported that Warner Bros. The new parent company of far-left CNN, Discovery, is facing massive layoffs and Discovery management is set to downsize next week.

According to Deadline reports, August is said to mark the start of mass layoffs, and the first wave is expected next week as the honeymoon period of the newly reunited media empire comes to an end.

Thousands of workers are expected to be affected by the layoffs, which are expected to last until Thanksgiving.

A long period of bitterness followed when CEO David Zaslav cleaned up the mess with the promise of at least $3 billion in savings. One of his first moves since taking office this year has been to shut down CNN+, a widely publicized but dark invention by CNN’s Jeff Zucker, who was sacked this year due to low ratings and a sex scandal.

CNN+ was shut down after just a month of operation, a huge embarrassment for the cable news network that has positioned itself as an outspoken anti-Trump media outlet under the Zucker regime.

Warner Bros. Discovery also canceled the TBS show. Full front with Samantha Bee. The comedy show has been in the ratings for a long time, and its angry host is making increasingly angry statements on the left, such as calling Ivanka Trump “cut” and urging viewers to go after Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito.

At Warner Bros’ studio. A big change has begun and Toby Emmerich has recently stepped down as head of the movie studio. Caroline Blackwood, COO and COO of Warner Bros., also left the company.

Ann Sarnoff, President and CEO of WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group, left the company earlier this year.

Deadline said major changes could also be coming to the HBO Max streaming service. One possibility is that HBO Max ships with Discovery+. The broadcaster may also face serious program interruptions.
