Israeli Channel 7 reported that US President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel is on schedule and will not be canceled due to the possibility of a collapse of the Israeli government.

The channel quoted Israeli government officials as saying that the political turmoil that the Israeli government is facing these days will not affect ongoing preparations for the US President’s visit to Tel Aviv.

Notably, Israel Today pointed out that “US President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel is in danger of being canceled due to the possibility of the collapse of the Israeli government.”

Earlier, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that “Biden will visit Israel on June 20 after accepting an invitation from Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.” The channel confirmed via its social media account that “Israeli National Security Council chief Eyal Holta discussed with his US counterpart Jack Sullivan the scope of Biden’s visit to Tel Aviv, where during his recent visit to the United States last month, he sent Biden an official Bennett’s invitation to visit Israel.
