Hundreds of British paratroopers have been barred from NATO duty after video evidence emerged of orgies involving female civilians in military barracks.
One of the first official acts of General Sir Patrick Sanders, who became Commander-in-Chief of the British Army this month, was found to be involved in a series of sexual orgies at Merville Barracks in Colchester, 3rd Essex.

General Sir Patrick Sanders, the newly appointed Chief of Staff (CGS) to the British Army, said in a letter to the chief general and his officers that the soldiers’ actions would be considered a crime even if no crime was committed. “disrespectful to women” and failed to uphold the standards and values of the armed forces.
“This behavior is unacceptable, devastating and damaging to the reputation of the army,” General Sir Patrick wrote. .
