NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg indicated that the leaders of the NATO countries will discuss at the Madrid summit the possibility of grain exports from Ukraine, the opening of sea routes for this and other measures.

And he announced at a press conference before the alliance summit in Madrid the main points that NATO leaders will discuss at the summit, that “NATO will name Russia the most important and direct threat to the security of the alliance at the summit in Madrid, and the alliance will increase its battle groups in Eastern Europe and increase the number reaction forces from 40,000 to 100,000.”

Stoltenberg stated that “NATO will place weapons depots on the eastern side and form forces specifically dedicated to operations in this region and adopt a program to support Ukraine at the Madrid summit, including re-equipping its army with coalition weapons, and NATO is concerned about the Russian military presence in the Kaliningrad region” .

The NATO summit will be held in Madrid on June 29-30.
