Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority announced that “a group of Iranian hackers managed to infiltrate the accounts of 300,000 Israelis, obtain and leak their personal information.”

And Israeli Channel 12 reported that “the hack by Iranian hackers took place about two weeks ago and the attack affected websites operated by Gol Tours LTD, an Israeli travel company that owns more than 20 travel booking websites.”

Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority said: “The information leak included phone numbers, addresses, dates, places of reserved vacations and sensitive medical information about Israelis. But it was met with non-cooperation, but the necessary changes were not made,” she said, emphasizing that launched an investigation into the incident.

She stated that “the owner of Gol Tours LTD refused to fix the security breach resulting from the Iranian attack because it would cost him money.”
