The UK Ministry of Defense has indicated that its latest intelligence indicates that Russian artillery shelling is continuing in the northern part of Donbas in eastern Ukraine.

The ministry said in its military intelligence daily report that “despite continued Russian bombardment, its forces have not yet made significant progress in the region,” noting that “Ukrainian forces, for their part, have continued to put pressure on Russian defensive lines in the northeast.” Kherson, however, no progress has been made here either.

It is worth noting that the latest British military intelligence reports confirmed that “Russia is currently moving reserve forces from across the country and mobilizing them near Ukraine for new operations, and it currently controls about twenty percent of Ukrainian territory after tightening its control over parts countries”. A large number of eastern and southern parts of the country, more than four months after the start of the military operation against Ukraine on February 24 last year.
