He continued: At that time, the embassy was suspended due to the hostile actions of the Ukrainian government, complete dependence and blind dependence on American and Western policies towards Syria and the world.
Last June, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in response to the recognition of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics by Damascus, announced the termination of diplomatic relations with Syria, without breaking consular relations.
This ministry also announced the beginning of the commercial embargo on Syria and the imposition of sanctions.
