US President Joe Biden said on Thursday after being diagnosed with Covid-19 that he was “in perfect health” and very busy at work.
“Citizens, I’m fine,” Biden wrote on his official Twitter account. Thank you for your concern. I just called Senator Casey, Congressman Cartwright, Mayor Cognetti and my cousins in Scranton to express my regrets for not being at today’s event. “

And the White House announced that US President Joe Biden had contracted the coronavirus, noting that he was suffering from “mild symptoms”.
White House press secretary Karen Jean-Pierre said Biden “had mild symptoms and was started on the antiviral drug baxolide.”
He added that Biden “will isolate himself in the White House and continue to fully fulfill his duties during this term.”
“The president has been on the phone with White House staff this morning and will participate in scheduled White House meetings this morning via phone and Zoom,” he said.
The White House announced that “First Lady Jill Biden’s tests are negative.”
It’s worth noting that Biden, 79, received a full shot: two doses of the Pfizer vaccine before taking office, the first booster in September and then the second last March.
