At least 15 people have died in a fire at a nightclub in the tourist city of Pattaya in eastern Thailand, the relief organization said on Saturday.

The fire broke out on the night of Thursday, Friday, in the nightclub “Mountain Bay” near the tourist area of ​​Pattaya, about 180 km from the capital Bangkok.

A man died of his wounds, raising the death toll to 15, including 11 men and four women, according to local organization Swang Rojanathmasatan.

About forty people were also injured in the accident, including more than ten seriously injured, with most of the victims between 17 and 49 years old and likely Thai.
