Clashes with heavy, medium and light weapons broke out in and around the Green Zone for the second consecutive day between supporters of the Sadr movement and Hashd al-Shaabi inside the Green Zone in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.
According to knowledgeable sources and activists, medium and heavy weapons have been used in these conflicts.
The number of dead in these clashes reached 30 people, most of whom were supporters of Sadr, and hundreds were injured in these clashes.

The protracted political crisis following October elections in which two sides vied for power left the country without a government for the longest consecutive period and led to fresh unrest as the country tries to recover from decades of conflict.
Rouhani Moqtada Sadr is against any foreign intervention in his country, be it from the United States, the West, or Iran.
He leads an armed faction of thousands as well as millions of supporters across Iraq, and his Iran-allied rivals control dozens of armed factions trained by Iranian forces.
