The Spanish government said it had sent another aircraft carrying heavy artillery ammunition destined for Ukrainian forces as part of the fifth arms shipment to Kyiv from Madrid in the past few days.

“This morning, a T-23 aircraft with heavy artillery ammunition for Ukraine took off from the Torrejon de Ardoz airbase near Madrid,” the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that four more flights with ammunition took off from the naval base of Rota (province of Cadiz in Andalusia) last week. In addition, 20 trucks have already left Spain, which were equipped in response to “an urgent request from the Ukrainian authorities to provide materials and uniforms for winter conditions.” Ten of them have already arrived in Poland, and one more is on the way.

The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly expressed their dissatisfaction with the German authorities, but German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that “Berlin provides Ukraine with a sufficient amount of weapons.”
