And she explained in a message from the Russian Sputnik agency that “today, at the airport in Beirut, law enforcement officers of the Lebanese Republic handed Victoria Matsakova over to their Russian colleagues for extradition to Moscow. At the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kalmykia, She was put on the international wanted list, accused of participating in an illegal armed formation on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.
According to her, the movements of the wanted woman across the border were tracked through the channels of Interpol. In December 2020, she was arrested in Lebanon and indicated that “after the representatives of the competent authorities of Lebanon approved the extradition request submitted by the Russian prosecutor’s office, they handed over the accused to the Interpol officers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Prisons of Russia. for extradition.”
