She was the monarch that marked the most in recent decades and her prestige surpassed that of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. From Brazil to Israel, passing through Sri Lanka and South Korea, the entire world pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.

Several people, many of them from outside the country, paid tribute at British embassies and main avenues in cities around the world. Some states went further and illuminated buildings or monuments, put the face of Elizabeth II on giant screens or mupies and hoisted the UK flag at half-staff.
