Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Qadimi stressed “The need to return to the national dialogue table with all Iraqis to put together our concerns, discuss our differences and work out solutions based on commonalities” and emphasized that “Iraq, the people of Iraq and the interests of the Iraqis are goals that should be set before all of us, and a goal that everyone should present at the table of national dialogue.”
He explained that “national consensus based on deep Iraqi communities and national values rooted in our country is not difficult or impossible. The Iraqis have been able to re-present themselves to the world in their worthy image and their history, and today they can formulate a solution that preserves the future of their country and the future of their children,” and added: “Let’s stick to dialogue and dialogue.” And dialogue .. and nothing else. This is our only way to resolve the crisis, otherwise the fire will burn everyone, and real courage lies in protecting the interests of the Iraqis, their security and social peace, and that we think together about the future of our coming generations.”
Al-Kazemi noted that “everyone understands that there is a high level of positive fraternal relations that have united the federal government in Baghdad with the Kurdistan Regional Government over the past two years, and it is no secret that this has come after various stages of turmoil and tension that have prevailed in these relationships.” “The achievement of this outstanding level of relations was not a gift, but was a product of the principle of dialogue, the manifestation of goodwill and a calm, non-passive policy, and we must build on what has been achieved so far in terms of strengthening participants and resolving crises in a spirit of brotherhood and common destiny.”
And he believed that “this government has undergone many difficult and exceptional circumstances, from fiction and forgery, and on false accusations, in order to gain advantage here or there, and this is contrary to all values.”
And al-Kazemi believed: “This government wanted to get involved in the blood and keep silent about suspicious transactions and described thefts until one side here or there was satisfied with this. He wanted this government to suppress voices demanding minimal rights and be a tool in their hands, but they did not succeed, so they only put obstacles in front of the government in order to disrupt it by all means.
And he emphasized that “we endured, and learned to endure for the sake of the highest interest, and to work honestly and sincerely, and not pay attention to anger, shouting and stabbing”, and emphasized that “we will work until the last moment, tirelessly, and we will call for dialogue, use the mechanisms of dialogue, and we will preserve the blood and dignity of our people, no matter what.” only because we consider Iraqi blood to be sacred and its shedding a red line.”
