More than 4,000 “invincibility points” created in Ukraine in case of Russian attacks, says Zelensky

After the recent Russian attacks against energy infrastructures, and with the arrival of winter, more than four thousand “invincibility points” were created, revealed the Ukrainian president. These places serve, in the event of prolonged power outages due to possible Russian bombing, to provide the civilian population with basic services such as electricity, water, heating, internet and first aid kits.

“If massive Russian attacks are launched and if power cannot be restored in a few hours, the work of invincibility points will be activated,” the Ukrainian leader explained in the usual speech. The services will be available to residents free of charge 24 hours a day and a platform with a map of the locations has already been created. They will work in all regions and district administrations, as well as in schools and state emergency services.

On the “financial front”, the Ukrainian leader thanked the “important” support for kyiv announced on Tuesday. The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, revealed that they will send another 2.5 billion euros to Ukraine. The United States, for its part, disclosed a new package of 4.5 billion dollars.
