“Judges, take a good look at the sky.” Medvedev threatens to fire a hypersonic missile in The Hague after Putin’s arrest warrant

The former Russian president threatened to fire an Oniks hypersonic missile at the building that serves as the headquarters of the International Criminal Court in the Dutch city of The Hague. “It cannot be intercepted,” he warned.

The former president of Russia and vice president of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, returned this Monday to react to the arrest warrant issued in the name of Vladimir Putin by the International Criminal Court (ICC), leaving several threats to the judicial body.

In his personal Telegram account, Dmitry Medvedev threatened to fire the “hypersonic missile” Oniks of the North Sea against the building that serves as the headquarters of the International Criminal Court, in the Dutch city of The Hague.

“[O míssil] cannot be intercepted”warned the former Russian president, calling the court a “poor international organization” and “useless”. “Judges, take a good look at the sky”warned.

In addition, the arrest warrant for Putin, in the opinion of Dmitry Medvedev, “disastrous consequences” for “international law”. “It is, basically, the collapse of the foundations of the principles of law.”

“Now nobody is going to resort to any international organization of this type, everyone will prefer to negotiate among themselves. All the stupid decisions of the United Nations will be useless.” lamented the Russian official.

“The depressing decline of the entire system of international relations is at hand. Trust is gone,” Dmitry Medvedev predicted.
