The Russian president pointed out that he “reads it carefully” and that he “respects” the intentions of the document, assuring that Russia is always open to negotiations. The high-level meeting – the first after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant on behalf of the Russian leader – was “baptized” with messages reinforcing Western support for Ukraine.
